Onboarding is a four-step wizard: Business, Services, Details, and Review. Most owners finish in about 20 minutes, and you can leave and come back — your progress is saved with your account.
Step 1 — Business
Tell us who you are:
- Business name and owner name
- Email address (this becomes your login — Sovereign uses passwordless magic links, so keep it accurate)
- Business phone number
- Industry (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping, or another home-service trade)
- Website, city, state, and how far you travel for jobs (your service radius)
Step 2 — Services
Pick the services you want prepared. What you see here depends on the plan you chose at checkout — the Pilot plan prepares the Core 6 workflows.
Step 3 — Details and access
This is where you grant the access each workflow needs: existing tool status (do you already use a field-service app?), review-profile details, and channel preferences. Nothing customer-facing turns on in this step — you are granting access, not launching.
Step 4 — Review
A summary of everything you entered. Confirm it and you land on your dashboard.
What happens after you finish
Each purchased service gets its workspace prepared automatically. Prepared is not the same as live: sends, calls, publishing, and spend each have their own controls, and each service card on the dashboard shows its actual status — green for active, yellow for deploying, gray for inactive. Two setup steps matter most in the first week:
- Forward your phone number to your AI line so calls actually reach the AI.
- Add the booking widget to your website so visitors can book without calling.
Changing answers later
Everything from onboarding is editable afterward under Dashboard → Settings (business details, service areas) or per-service under Dashboard → Services.
