We’re small on purpose. For now.
Sovereign is one technical founder today. That’s not a gap we’re rushing to fill — it’s the reason the person who writes the code is the person who answers your email. Here’s how hiring will work when it’s time.
No open roles yet — and we’ll say so plainly.
We’re pre-revenue and deliberately lean. When we open a role, it’ll be listed right here with real scope and real pay — never an “always accepting applications” black hole. If it’s not live below, there’s nothing open today.
How we’ll work when we grow
The same principles that shape the product will shape the team.
Honesty is the product
We don't ship fake stats or dark patterns. Everyone here has to be comfortable saying the true thing, even when a shinier version would sell better.
Small teams, real ownership
No layers. You own outcomes end to end and talk to customers directly — the way the whole company runs today.
Build in the open
We ship changelogs publicly and admit what is not done yet. Comfort with visible, iterative progress beats polished secrecy.
Craft over volume
One thousand no’s for every yes. We would rather do six things extremely well than sixty things adequately.
Stay close to the trade
We build for HVAC techs, plumbers, and electricians. You will spend real time understanding how contractors actually run their day.
Durable, not frantic
Guarantee-backed pricing means we only win when customers win. That patience shapes how we hire and how we work.
The roles we’ll open first
A rough map of where a second and third person would help most — not job posts, just honesty about the plan.
Founding Engineer
First hireFull-stack, comfortable across the agent pipeline, integrations, and the dashboard. You’ll shape the product and the codebase, not inherit a ticket queue.
Customer Success (Contractor-side)
EarlySomeone who has run or worked in a service business and can onboard contractors, run setup calls, and translate their reality back into the roadmap.
Content & SEO Lead
LaterOwns the honest, genuinely-useful content engine — trade guides, benchmarks, and local pages — without ever fabricating results.
Design Engineer
LaterBridges design and code the way the current build does: one consistent system, shipped, not just mocked up.
